Chapters

EWB–USA is comprised of over 12,000 members.  Our members get involved by joining one of over 250 geographically-based chapters.  Chapters are the foundation of our organization.  They serve as the primary meeting place for our members, functioning as a forum for members to plan projects and carry out EWB-USA’s mission.  Chapters meet on a regular basis.

As a chapter member, you can get involved with a project, participate in the planning of events, and meet like-minded professionals and students.  EWB-USA chapters are comprised of both engineers and non-engineers alike.  We welcome students and professionals from all trades, including: public health, anthropology, geology, business, communications, and graphic design.  Join an EWB-USA chapter today!

Premier Chapters

The EWB-USA premier chapters are chosen annually based on their technical preparedness, presentation and design, cultural awareness and sensitivity, community education and participation, health and safety for the community and the chapter, administrative attentiveness and following EWB-USA procedures and guidelines during the project process. “You don't start with technology. You start by finding out what people need and then you see if
technology can meet those needs in a better way.  That's why I'm so impressed with the way you go about your work.”

– Bill Gates, Sr.
